Kaleiding Stars - 40" x 40"

Kaleiding Stars is machine pieced and extensively machine quilted. I'd been looking at a quilting magazine while trying to figure out how to use the focus fabric, and fell asleep on the sofa. When I woke up, the design was in my head! I used Electric Quilt to draft the design and play with the color combinations. Completed 1999.

This quilt was awarded Second Place in both the 1999 Hoffman Challenge and the 2001 Houston International Quilt Association Show.
