Last Dance 20" x 19.5"
Last Dance was completed in the Fall of 2008. The central image is a digital collage, surrounded by hand dyed, appliqued leaves and a hand dyed border. The border is quilted to resemble lichen and the litter found on a forest floor. Last Dance was awarded third place in the Miniature Art Quilts category at the 2009 International Quilt Association Show in Houston, Texas. Look for it in the March, 2010 issue of Machine Quilting Unlimited, and also the 2011 IQA calendar of award winning quilts, published by Martingale.
