And They Danced by the Light of the Moon 31" x 31"
This is my first competition quilt, made for the 1995 Hoffman Challenge. As soon as I saw the challenge fabric, the orchid print, I knew the basic design that I wanted to make. The birds are silk and are free motion appliqued to the background. I had a great time designing the paper pieced leaf border on a Macintosh. Completed 1995.
