Return of the Grackle 40" x 51"
Return of the Grackle was made in the Spring of 2010 by collaging numerous images, both photographs and paintings, in Photoshop. Five panels were printed from my computer onto silk and very heavily machine quilted. Return of the Grackle was awarded Third Place in the Digital Imagery category at the 2010 International Quilt Association Show in Houston, Texas. It also won Third Place, Innovative, in the 2011 Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza, and was featured as the "Photo Finish" in Quilters Newsletter Magazine.
